The Edith L. Trees Charitable Trust was established in 1976 in Pennsylvania. The foundation does not maintain a website. Please contact the foundation to verify eligibility prior to submission of a full application. Funds may be used for the following purposes:
Giving primarily is limited to non profit organizations in Pennsylvania with emphasis on Allegheny county.
Applications are to be submitted by October 1, annually. INitial approach should be with a Proposal. An applications form is not required. Applicants should submit the following:
Additional information: Proposal must detail services provided by the applicant and include financial statements for previous 3 years. The names of officers and trustees should include a brief comment on their connections with the community and with persons who have mental retardation
Awards vary based on scope and size of project. Awards are up to $1,000,000. Generally, awards are between $50,000 and $100,000.
